Out and About

Back to the thrift shop today, where the sight of these did my heart good:

I won't tell you whether I bought them or not.

Oh!!! I love love love Zamfir. When I was a little girl, this was the music that was drifting about her house!! It brings back the smell of her old house, her kitchen where she was baking, her hand cream & her perfume.
Now, whenever I hear a panflute, it makes me misty eyed! What a great find!!

Are those LP's? - do you have a record player? Wow if you do - y'know, it is actually all the rage to have a vinyl player again. The sound is better and the artists don't get their music ripped so easily ( some musicians are only doing vinyl now!! - how very 20th century eh?) I'm betting there are sounds of tranquility in your abode!!

Yes I have a record player and in fact am a huge vinyl-ista. I don't have an enormous collection but what I have I'm pleased with.

They do sound better, but a lot depends on condition of the record, quality of needle, etc...I could use a new needle actually but they're a bit hard to come by.
