How many chew toys can you buy for $140?

I don't have a good feeling about this.

Have you spotted it?

Simon chewed up ONE of my Birks. Just one. I really wish he had totally consumed both of them.

Even with $140 of chew toys -- he'd still chew the shoe. Or the blue pen on your carpet ....

puppies are really cute for a reason.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh...... this takes me right back to our childhood, where I'd watch Shan vs. The Parents with big goggly eyes, biting my lower lip and shrinking back against the wall. "This time she's gone too far. Will this be the time they actually lose it completely?"

Hi Shan, thanks for saying hi on my blog. Blackadder is fab and Brian Blessed is just how you imagine him to be - highly witty, intellectual and completely bonkers! Cute puppy btw.

Oh yes, Anna - it is a Birkenstock.

I was reading a dog-training thing online and it said "a rolled-up newspaper is very helpful when training a puppy. When you find an 'accident', take your puppy over to it, take the rolled-up newspaper, and beat yourself around the head with it while yelling 'I forgot to watch my dog! I forgot to watch my dog!'"

Which is all to say, it was really my fault. I left it in the wrong spot.

Uh-oh. Looks like my canine long-distance boyfriend is in the doghouse.

What a face, what a cute face ... couldn't see past the face to find the birkenstock, but I think that's his strategy. Looking forward to seeing you this weekend. Um, didn't you promise me a pie ??
