Dum Dum Tek Ka

Tonight is the Middle Eastern cooking class, with Shan as the floor show. Wish me tips.

And totally off topic, but Dum Dum always makes me think of Night at the Museum. "You have gum gum for Dum Dum?"

Kate, of course now I'm laughing about the Easter Island head, but in this case you say it like "doom". It's the bass note of the dumbek (DOOMbeck) drum, played in the centre, and "tek" and "ka" are the lighter notes, played at the edges.
