A Tragedy in 55 Words and 2 Pictures.

One day, two sisters were playing happily in the living room. The older one was singing to herself while colouring in her sketch book. The younger one was sitting on the couch, idly playing with a pair of kids' scissors and looking around for something to do.

She found something to keep herself busy.

The end.

The end. Mwwahhh haa haaa. The end. Snort.

You're so deadpan and succint, it kills me. What a pun.

I have books for you. I'll bring them to the pool.

Ouch!

Somehow I doubt whether your words at the time were "quick get the camera, I've got some blog-fodder". :-)

Penny - you should have seen me last night, fully 36 hours after the Fateful Moment, snipping yarn in an attempt to recreate the scene of the crime. Mr HSBoots thought I was going off my nut.

By the way - the little one sobbed a most sincere apology. I think she was reduced to tears by the sight of her mother reduced to tears.

Oh my. Is she still alive?

oh. ouch. oh.

Is there any way to resurrect this? darning? adding another row...?

Jo, she's still alive. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing. Contrition - even better.

YTT, I think heavy use of a sewing needle and thread will save the day. As long as the recipient doesn't look too closely at the bottom two inches of one side seam, we'll be golden.

I guess they had to break Rule #1 sometime. (Rule #1 a) Be Careful of the Yarn; and b) Don't Touch the Knitting)

OMGOODNESS!!!

Poor Shan! I am glad you will be able to fix it.

I have been having some knitting angst of my own though no kidlings involved just me and the yarn and the needles.
