Okay, I have done some more work on St Brigid. I had trouble getting the model to stand still, so the two following pictures are either blurry or over-flashed, but you get the idea. Progress is being made.
And, in our continuing coverage of local weather, I present My Front Yard (with Steps).
Yes, baby, we got fun.

Oh, Shan, it looks gorgeous. (Both sweater and snow.) I so wish I could hang out with you just now, with soft music and twinkle lights and an Orange Brandy! Very sad. Miss you tremendously. :(
Found your blog from your comment over at Fun Knits, which is also my favourite LYS. I'm in Campbell River, and assume you are here or close by. Always great to find local knitting bloggers!
How beautiful Shannon!! - the snow and the sweater - wow - you are making great progress! It will be hard for you to walk down the street, once you are done, for people stopping you - to admire your work - it will be a work of art when done.
Not moving too much today - schools and college closed - and fortunately I am not working~Yahoo!I am working on a Christmas(for a present) pair of socks - not happy with the result as of yet - may have to frog it - we'll see...we have a snowman on the front lawn with hat and scarf - one of our guests built it early this am - how industrious - love the snow - looking forward to the rain to help us clear a path out of here! Have a great day,
Karen
Hey, Mark gave me your blog address - we work together here in Charlotte, NC...the pictures of the snow remind me of Greene, NY where I raised my family of 3 and the winters there, also of Upper Lisle where I grew up on a farm, and Oswego where I was born and live to the ripe old age of 5.
I too love to write and am a professional photographer. Happy Holidays to you and yours and I'll keep an eye on Mark.
