Jenny's website

A website has been set up for my knitter friend Jenny. Updates on her progress will be posted there.

Please stop by the site and leave her your best wishes - she could use some good energy now, and when she wakes up.

A note on donation: read Karen's comment of October 31 - there is some question as to the accountability of those collecting for Jenny. Prudence demands that you refrain from donation at least until the uncertainty is cleared up.

I humbly suggest that when she's well enough to look at such things, you show her those pics of your youngest. They'd cheer up a bipolar ghoul with hangover.

It looks like she is making good progress.

Head injuries are a crazy ride. The brain does heal, and I'm confident she will make tremendous progress.

Our prayers are with Jen.

Please read the following regarding the website for our Jen....I requested that the Admin provide us with a bit more info. The following is the post - I expect that it will be deleted from the web site............................
Your comment is awaiting moderation. This is a message for our Jennifer who we know so well and Love. You are in our lives every day and have been for almost two years - all of our meals, our plans, our adventures and our work - you are with us. Now you are with us in our thoughts and prayers - when we are not beside you at the hospital.
We plan our days around what you and the rest of the family is doing, and what we need to do. You are such a special part of our lives… and we miss you so much. I know you and I know your inside strength Jen, so I know that you are coming home soon. The sooner the better.
Karen
PLEASE NOTE:
Just a thought for the person or persons that are acting as the Admin for this site. Because I know ALL of the people that live and interact with Jen on a daily basis… some concerns have been brought to my attention by some of those caring people. The donations that you are taking for Jennifer, which Bank(?) and what is the Trust Fund Name that you are using? I am assuming, to ensure transparency, that it is in Jennifer’s name. For those of her friends and co -workers that do not feel comfortable using the internet to dispense money, it would be appropriate to let us know where they can go to make a contribution in person.(ie: Please post the Financial Institution and Name of Trust fund beside your PayPal info.) For any of her freinds and coworkers, that feel more comfortable donating in person, you can also to:
Thrifty Foods
1400 Ironwood Rd.
Campbell River
(250)850-3581
The donations taken for Jennifer are all documented through a special code - just go through any till - all of the employees are wearing a yellow ribbon to show their love and support for Jennifer. All contributions are transparent, held in trust for her, and will be released, ONLY, to Jennifer, when she is back on her feet. All monies are accounted for. With approval in the near future, the collection may take place throughout the Chain.
The only goal at this time is to get our Jen well again.
Out of curiousity, who are the Admin’s of the site and what is your connection to Jen?
Copies of this request will be posted on other sites frequented by Jen’s friends and co-workers.

Shan,
A bit of a longwinded note, but I feel strongly that anyone who knows and loves Jen, would want to know that it is all above board. I don't think that it is asking too much. Anyone that is above board would be more than happy to provide the information. For anyone that would like to help Jen, please go to Thrifty Foods - and make your donation there. It will all go to Jen.

Shan,
Josh McCreight has deleted my first comment from the web site ( re: Jenny) - I have again posted it as a separate notice - I am very wary as to his intention. I have added a new notice that I put up, as I am sure that he will not publish it... however he knows that I will send it out to other sites - so it will still get out.

This is the notice ( unfortunately it includes the first notice as well, so it is a bit lengthy... if you want to delete my previous comment - please edit as required. Thanks)
Jen,

We all want the best for you... and our family is committed to protecting you and ensuring that all of the things that need to be taken care of.. are.

In that light we feel that all of the people who love you would want to know that the monies collected for you are secure. All charitable donations are usually posted on a scale with a visual graph to show the donations.

We hope that the Admin, Mr. Josh McCreight , Jen's half brother, is going to do his due diligence in this case.

The following was deleted from this web site and for those friends of Jen's who were looking for it - it is now posted again, here. If it is again deleted or not posted by the administrator of this site - notification will go out to all of the web sites watching this site - as protection for Jen.

This is the note that was published and then deleted by the Admin.:

Please read the following regarding the website for our Jen....I requested that the Admin provide us with a bit more info. The following is the post - I expect that it will be deleted from the web site............................
