Um, I think the ability to do something like this means that you are probably some kind of mutant ... back away, don't look her in the eye ... slowly slowly slowly
Btw--how would one wear a shawl this size? It would "fit" an 8'3" (99") knitter . . . but aren't you somewhere in the neighborhood of 5'5"? I'm really curious to see this modeled by you. :o)
Good grief, it's enormous!!!!! It would make a beautiful cover for a circular table over a plain tablecloth to show off the stitches (yes, I know it's a shawl but when it's not in use it would be criminal to hide it away). Brilliant work.

Oh you are not kidding, Sweets.
That's lovely - you've worked really hard on it.

Holy cow, Batman. That is absolutely amazing!! Stunning!!
Oh, I am *so* glad you didn't run out of yarn. That is lovely, gorgeous, beautiful, and exquisite.
Stunning! I am very impressed. it almost makes me want to dig out the shawl I am working on...
You are a rock star. I think your daughter's expression says it all.
Holy Camoley that shawl is immense! (And beautiful as well!) I'm curious how much yardage/meterage (is that even a word?) it used.
(I'm trying to suggest stunned silence here.) What a work of art!!!
Wow, that is truly amazing!!!!
whoa, nelly.
Ermmmmm....sorry... momentaringly lost for words due to wonder shawl on blog....
... WOW...
You rock. Big time.
And are perhaps slightly mutant as Dave suggests. But in that amazing, ET kind of way.
congratulations. it is lovely. is rheingold the next thing on the needles???
Total weight - 178 grams. Total yardage used - 1958.
Rheingold is the next big knit, but I might have to save it for the New Year since I have a few things that need to be done for Christmas.
FO post for the Cap Shawl coming soon.
Exquisite.
First, silence reigned. Then "Woah" involuntarily escaped my lips when I saw your daughter in the background, and the sheer size of the thing hit me.
And I felt heroic for finishing a laceweight version of the Forest Canopy Shoulder Shawl with some extra repeats. I'm a wimp. lol
WOW!! Absolutely WOW!
Congratulations on finishing! It is amazingly lovely.
