Not sure what to do with that.

My daughter just came in from outside and said this:

"For our bird graveyard museum, Keely’s going to ask if her dad has any dead hummingbirds we can have."

I just sat there, watching her run back down the street, while the soundtrack in my head played crickets chirping.

Oh dear that is too funny, just a second, I have to stop laughing. I have feeling you have been keeping things from your loyal fans. Do you give tours?

It must be a day for the macabre. One of mine built a guillotine out of Lego.

I knew you were a night owl. I thought it was out of habit, now I know it's out of fear.

Trademark the "graveyard museum" concept before someone else gets at it! That's what to do here.

Uhm....nice follow up to that last post about Rascal.

Actually, back when I was in second grade a friend and I found a dead robin after a thunderstorm. We got an old shoe box for a casket, staged a funeral procession with our bikes. Then made a headstone with the following chalked on it: "Struck by lightming. Buried by us. Went to heaven on the bus."

That little poem gets stuck in my head every now and then, especially around spring T'storms. I don't think my Mom ever knew about that little event.

But what parts of the hummingbirds are they looking for? That is the question.

Your daughter and her friend have got things figured out - do I detect potential college fund augmentation from the admission charges??
