Oh, I am almost there!!!!!
The trees at top left, a bit of snow lines, some backstitching on the central figures...and Charlotte's stocking will be done and dusted. A mere six years in the making, this has to be one of the more complex cross-stitch pieces I've done. I like it, but it's definitely time for this to move on, and out into the world. BEGONE.
Lots of other things going on around here, needlewise, but the Christmas gag order is firmly in place. Later!

My mom did Christmas stockings of that nature for all of us - which is, admittedly, just four. My son's stocking took several years to get started, and more than one to make. Yours is lovely ... keep on!
You ROCK!! That is one gorgeous cross stitch stocking. Charlotte is a lucky girl! Mine, alas, will not be complete for this Christmas :o(
It's absolutely beautiful! I am planing on doing something of the like , er well a little less complex though ;-)

Wow Shan, it's looking amazing!
A title is needed for artwork of this quality, I suggest ... what they did after finding the button ...
Congratulations! I have done absolutely nothing on my tree skirt this year but we aren't putting up a tree, either, so I guess I have a pass until next year.
Keep on, Shan . . . it looks great. :o) I'm all inspired, but I think I'll start on them in January . . .
Gorgeous, Shannon! I had intended to do cross stitch stockings for my kids...I found the most amazing patterns even.....and there you have it....as far as I got. My kids are now 24, 22 and 19.....maybe for the grandkids?
